  • Attestato di Maturità / Attestato di Maturità Cantonale riconosciuto dalla Confederazione

 

In order to be considered for admission and to satisfy the University’s General Entry Requirements you need to present:

(a)   the Certificate de Maturité / Certificate de Maturité Cantonal reconnu par la Confédération, or Maturitätsausweis / Eidgenössisch anerkanntes kantonales Maturitätszeugnis, or Attestato di Maturità / Attestato di Maturità Cantonale riconosciuto dalla Confederazione with an acceptable overall average grade of 4 or better, and final good passes in a language (excluding English), a humanistic subject, and a science subject (preferably Mathematics) in the final year of studies. If not presented in the final year of studies, good passes in a language (excluding English) and Mathematics may be accepted from the penultimate year; and

(b) a valid Secure English Language Test (SELT) to satisfy the University’s English Language Requirements. Further information in this regard is available here.

When choosing courses / areas of study having Special Course Requirements (except for the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, the Master of Dental Surgery and courses accepting a limited number of students*), said requirements will be satisfied if you present final passes with a grade 4 or better in the subjects stipulated as Special Course Requirements, except for English Language.

*Applicants wishing to join the courses leading to the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, the Master of Dental Surgery, and courses accepting a limited number of students, must separately present passes in the applicable Special Course Requirements from the MATSEC Board, or comparable Boards, at the level and grade / or comparable, as stipulated in the respective course regulations or bye-laws.
