The programme in German will give you an academic perspective at the Germanic language in terms of linguistics, literature and culture. During the course we will instil within you a deep appreciation for the language by helping you refine and hone your lexical, syntactic and grammatical abilities in all of the language's mediums. Your heightened insight in history and culture will prove invaluable in the work field, and you will gain a better understanding of how the contemporary state of the German language and Germany itself have been affected by key historical events. In your final year, you may have the opportunity to conduct a research-based dissertation composed of a research topic of your choice. We also encourage you to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme, as we believe a diversified and multicultural experience will give you a holistic academic journey.

Communication and Academic Skills Programme

The communication and academic skills programme complements students’ main course of study. It introduces them to writing and presenting as situated within academic contexts sensitive to specific disciplines and develops their competences for future careers.
